Daily News | CHOP Parkway Run & Walk cancer fundraiser will be in-person for first time since COVID started

Earlier this month, Megan Walker and her daughter Lily embraced one another at their home in Havertown. Lily Walker was diagnosed with astrocytoma, a life-threatening brain cancer, in March 2019 when she was 14. The tumor is inoperable. Lily is now 17, and her tumor is stable and she's well enough to participate in Sunday's CHOP Parkway Run & Walk, presented by Citadel Credit Union, to raise funds for breakthrough pediatric cancer research and care.
