Hundreds will flock to the Iveagh Gardens today for HOPEFEST - an outdoor wellness event for those experiencing homelessness. Haircuts, chiropody and yoga are some of the services that organisers hope will bring 'a bit of positivity' to the community.

Organised by UCD Lions club and the Dublin Simon Community, HOPEFEST aims to give hope to those struggling, giving them practical help to make things a little easier."It brings a bit of positivity"

"I think it's unique in that it's specifically for those experiencing homelessness and it brings a bit of positivity." Mendicity, one of the Ireland's oldest homeless charities, has reported that a quarter of its clients have jobs.

For a second I thought it was a post on the homeless but then reality set in and realised the media don't report on the people sleeping in our streets because they are controlled by fffgg.
