Libertarian sensibility precludes insisting that people not mask. Like telling them they must mask, it runs afoul of the sensible principle of respecting individual choice. People have their own preferences, which should be respected. Before Covid-19 nobody wore masks even though there were plenty of viruses around to worry about. It's amazing how many people gleefully accepted the mask and will continue to do so for eternity. The mask is now more a virtue symbol than a tool.
Once again, wrong. Imagine if we didn’t have medical professionals to develop a vaccine, test it, supply it, and local professionals to help administer it and promote ways to reduce its spread? With rightie politicians in charge, we’d be like Trumps USA, total disaster.
Masking is subjugation. I'm immunocompromised. Dx 1 1/2 yr prior to covidia. I'd never masked, ever. Washed hands often, didn't touch handles with bare hands. NEVER got sick. Still do not wear masks, still haven't been sick.
