Paxlovid must be prescribed within five days after the onset of symptoms. But 14 days after submitting the form he's still wondering if it was even reviewed. He never heard back from the health authority.

Only a limited number of doctors and pharmacists in Nova Scotia can prescribe Paxlovid as well as other COVID treatments. The group ofDr. Lisa Barrett is one of them. She’s also co-chair of the province’s COVID-19 Therapeutics and Prophylactics Advisory Group. The advisory group reviews the evidence for COVID-19 medications, such as Paxlovid, and makes recommendations for their use in Nova Scotia.
She said if people feel that they are at high risk and possibly eligible for Paxlovid or another COVID treatment they can be referred to the program by a health-care provider.
