Ahead of next week’s jobs and skills summit, the health minister, Mark Butler, will hold a health workforce round table on Tuesday.
The fact is that if you don’t support skilled workers to deliver healthcare to the community, the health system fails. The challenges ahead of us are not insurmountable, rather many of these challenges present opportunities for us to improve and future-proof our health workforce. Butler said while international skilled migration would always be necessary, this was “only one strategy” and more needed to be done to ensure the training and career pathways for the health workforce were set correctly.
Is albo going to release the co-ag meetings as promised? or reduce power by over $200 as promised? So far he's forgotten he's the PM and been AWOL on a tax-payer funded holiday while the country goes to the crapper due to diesel prices. (once again that he's done NOTHING about)
Wishing the best of all outcomes for John and support for his family. It's a challenging journey they will embark on. johnfarnham
