Fatal film-set shooting by actor Alec Baldwin was an accident, medical investigator finds.

Other live ammunition was found on film's set during investigation into Halyna Hutchins's deathA medical investigator has ruled the fatal film-set shooting last year of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins by actor Alec Baldwin, shown here, was an accident.

Prosecutors have not yet decided if any charges will be filed, saying they would review the latest reports and were awaiting cellphone data from Baldwin's lawyers. A photo of Hutchins is displayed during a vigil in her honour in Albuquerque, N.M., on Oct. 23, 2021. Hutchins was fatally shot two days earlier after an assistant director handed Baldwin a loaded weapon and told him it was safe to use on the set of the film Rust.

"This was the only successful discharge during this testing and it was attributed to the fracture of internal components, not the failure of the firearm or safety mechanisms," the report stated.

Of course it was!! Didn’t need an inquest and investigation to figure that out!

Yes an accident that could have easily been avoided. Should still be manslaughter because if how easily it could have been avoided.

The rich and powerful never pay for their mistakes.

“Man slaughter” doesn’t care if it’s an accident . You still go to jail .

They got paid off to turn the story around - the clintons were once again involved because of the victims toes and history to them -

It may not have been intentional but it wasn't an accident. Someone, perhaps more than one someone, was negligent.

Yes but she’s still dead and was going to expose Hollywood Pedophile Rings in a documentary. They are literally the mafia inside Hollywood, total thugs.

Why are you protecting this guy with such fervor?

a celebrity getting off the hook easy on a criminal charge who vould have seen that coming

Still manslaughter

White liberal privilege 100%. If he was black he’d be locked up for 15 years min.

Criminal negligence from the careless use of a fireman. Oops I’m sorry doesn’t cut it. And of course he never even said he was sorry. Baldwin said he never pulled the trigger !

Of course it was an accident!!! But he is still 100% responsible!!!

But the FBI said like 5 days ago he did pull the trigger what a joke rules for thee not for the rich or politicians

So negligence is now an accident I will remember that if I ever desire to be an idiot with a firearm!

We all knew that then

Sure

Literally just 2 days ago every MSM outlet was posting this headline... why the change$$$$

Live firearm 👁️👄👁️

maddytwocock An accident, yes. But a negligent one? Absolutely.

Unintentional, not an accident. You never take someone else’s word whether a gun is unloaded. You do not point a gun in this circumstance without proving to yourself that it is clear or if dummies are loaded that you dry fire it on every chamber in a safe direction first.

Manslaughter at least but since Baldwin is a democrat he'll get off scot free.

Right, a completely avoidable negligent manslaughter incident. At least frame it right.

Still negligent.

Since when do medical practitioners determine legal responsibility for criminal acts?

Accident brought on by negligence.

It’s fun watching him suffer

Alec....tell them you could never target, then discharge cycle a round, right? Not if you were drunk on the floor eating burgers harshin your kids.... Didn't believe you? Ok, give me a minute. Red October.....Da Best.

If she spent more time on gun safety, than on bitching about us poors owning firearms, maybe she would be alive today.

Involuntary manslaughter

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

A forensic medical exam determined if the incident was intentional or not? Homicide is still a Homicide, whether justified or not.

It may have been an 'accident' but that accident was precipitated by negligence & reckless disregard for onset firearms safety protocols. He / they may have escaped criminal charges, but I expect to see a sizeable judgment against him / them in any future civil actions.

Has no one even considered that with the trigger under slight finger pressure pulling the hammer back to full cock will not lock the hammer back but instead the hammer will fully fall and fire. That slight pressure will prevent the hammer locking at 1/4, 1/2, and full cock.

Duh.

Did you guys have some hope that the gun “just went off”? It doesn’t work that way.

Is it an accident or is it negligence? He pulled the trigger of a gun without the most basic safety check. Someone is negligent but most likely multiple people are.

no such thing as a firearms accident. It wasn't supposed to have live ammunition in it.

His face says he didn’t mean to kill anyone. Must be hell to live with.

This article paid for by Friends of Baldwin 🤣

For regular people this is called manslaughter

That was literally never in question. It was his claim that he didn't pull the trigger, which he did. You even mention it, rewrite the headline.

He shot two people.💁🏼‍♂️

Of course it wasn't.
