Authorities are reporting about 29 new monkeypox infections every day, compared to about 52 cases a day during the last week in June.

People were denied the right to visit with dying family and friends to slow the spread of covid…a disease with a 99% recovery…but gay festivities were too important to cancel for this year, knowing that monkeypox was likely to spread. This is the world we now live in.
