The United Kingdom's Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) announced on Monday that Moderna's COVID-19 bivalent vaccine was approved for us

The United Kingdom’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency announced on Monday that Moderna’s COVID-19 bivalent vaccine was approved for use.In each dose of the booster vaccine, half of the vaccine targets the original virus strain from 2020 and the other half targets Omicron.Although it was not designed with Omicron sub-variants in mind, they say the vaccine was also found to generate a good immune response against the BA.4 and BA.5 sub-variants.

However, it’s expected that like the first vaccine rollout, it would come to Canada later than other countries in Europe and United States.Ctrl+Enter
