Totally magical !!! It’s not perfect and doesn’t help all, but here it is until they can find something better. There’s a LOT of these types coming up, new medicine. Im excited.

It's not a magic bullet for 60% of patients, and to NOT talk about the insane cost of treatment is irresponsible. (You mention the cost of the infusion, already ridiculous, not the cost of the treatment, usually ~$1 million)

doesn’t sound that magical.

Not so magic

A “magic bullet” that often misses isn’t exactly “magic”...is it? 🤷🏽‍♂️

'Gilead Sciences' yikes!

Laws Intended To Protect Firefighters Who Get Cancer Often Lack TeethWhen they run into burning buildings, firefighters get exposed to carcinogens. In many states, laws were passed to protect them if they get cancer. But firefighters often get denied benefits anyway. This sounds like a national emergency that could use funding (supporting our first responders), not funding a wall. There's also a pervasive culture of silence in the firefighter community, particularly in the wildland community. It's often the case that reporting long-term or short-term hazards, accidents / injuries result in recrimination from coworkers, as reports can harm crews or dept's.
