The test positivity rate for B.C. was at 10.1 per cent as of Aug. 6, and was 15.4 for Island Health for the same date. Deaths each week are conditional numbers subject to change. In the previous update, the BC CDC reported 28 deaths between July 24 and July 30, and are updating that week’s deaths to 54.

Just a reminder that these numbers are bullocks; I know about 10 people who have had Covid (confirmed by test) and who didn't report it to anyone. There must be hundreds of people who are just getting through it without being counted. Just saying!
