‘Significantly high’ percentage of Democrats worried about President JoeBiden’s mental health

A new survey out this morning said that a “significantly high” percentage of Democrats are now concerned about Biden’s situation, not just critics.

“Among Democrats, for instance, just 39% of Democrats say they are worried about Biden’s mental condition, versus 82% of Republicans and 56% of independents. But that 39% of Democrats, while not a majority, is still significantly high,” said the Issues & Insights/TIPP analysis.— RNC Research August 9, 2022 Overall, 59% in the poll of 1,335 adults said that they are concerned about Biden. Of that, 36% said they are “very concerned,” said the analysis.

“The fact is, based on these polling data, there is genuine concern among virtually all groups over Biden’s cognitive health. It has taken on political urgency with the looming 2022 midterm elections, which, if Republicans prevail, could well turn Biden into a lame duck,” said the report. Over the past year, the media and Biden’s critics promoted videos in which he is heard mumbling or shown making odd gestures, such as reaching to shake hands when either nobody is there or after he already shook hands.

Other polls have shown a desire by voters for Biden, who recently tested positive repeatedly for COVID, to take a mental health test, and some key liberals have urged the president to step aside and not run for reelection.
