NHS England says the number of people waiting two years or more for treatment has been dramatically reduced as part of its plan to address delays caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
And 200 times more people have now been waiting a year for treatment compared with before the pandemic - rising from 1,613 in Feb 2020 to more than 330,000 in May. In addition, a"further 51,000 who would have breached two years by the end of July have also been treated". Progress is being made, she commented, by using"innovative techniques and adopting pioneering technology like robot surgery".
Waited 2.5 years for a consultation - 2 referrals made - still waiting😡
So I had a scan I have been waiting months for, but now 3 months later still no results! Looks like fudging numbers to me !
FFS, they have cut the 2 year waiting list, their next target is the 18 month one and all you can do is complain about those waiting a year. Damn scum media.
Was referred 2.5 years ago - still not been seen😡
It's almost like locking down the country for 2 years had worse implications for health care than the virus itself. Who would have thought it? Answer: most people. But the media salivated at the chance to cause controversy and fear, forcing gullible politicians to panic.
Face it. NHS is a failed system. How's that socialism thing working for you now?
