The provincial government announced today that it is making it easier and more convenient for people to keep their IDs up to date.
You can finally go paperless and opt for digital reminders to renew your driver's licence, health card, and even licence plate in Ontario. You can choose to get your reminders to renew by email, text, phone call, or any combination of the above. You'll get two reminders to renew your ID, one 60 days before expiry, and another 30 days before.You can now sign up to receive an email, text or, phone call reminding you when to renew next!

DinaPugliese Reminders do not help. You can only renew your health card online IF you have a drivers license or ON ID card. If you have neither you have to go to service ON. I have an appt Monday after spending time on the phone.
A lot easier would be to move away from physical cards and migrate to my phone
Let’s hope it works. Changed my address online, even received confirmation and it never went through for my health card. Only got changed when I got my COVID vaccine.
I was able to renew my sticker and drivers license online yet health card mysteriously I needed to come into service Ontario (probably to catch those not in Ontario). Fine with me but still
How is a reminder making it a lot easier, put a damn reminder in your phone, computer whatever. Seriously if you need a reminder to renew your drivers license, you should not be driving, and if you need a reminder for your health card, well kudos free Boosters4Life
