Cambridge University researchers said there was 'no evidence of a causal link between prostate cancer and either prostate size or troublesome male urinary symptoms'.

Public health messaging around prostate cancer places a misleading focus on urinary symptoms and may be hampering efforts of early detection, scientists have warned.

However, public health guidance regularly promotes this link, with an increased need to urinate high on the list of symptoms for prostate cancer given on the NHS website.

Rather than state there is a misleading focus and leave it at that, perhaps you / Cambridge University should list the focus...?

So many men die needlessly from what is apparently a very treatable form of Cancer, and yet there’s nothing in place as there is for cervical cancer…It’s almost a given that the prostate will become ‘troublesome’ later in life

Misleading. They must mean that there is no statistically significant link between urination & early-onset prostate cancer, because, I assure you, just in terms of pathology & anatomy, a cancerous prostate acts upon both the bladder & urethra—to which it is attached.
