WASHINGTON—Sen. Joe Manchin said he has reached an agreement with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to vote on a package designed to lower energy and healthcare costs while narrowing the federal deficit.
Mr. Manchin’s comments on Wednesday, made in a statement issued while he isolates with Covid-19, marked a potential revival of significant pieces of President Biden’s tax and climate agenda. Mr. Manchin didn’t provide many specific details in the proposal, which he dubbed the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, but he broadly characterized the goals of the tax, healthcare and deficit reduction provisions he is now supporting.
This been long messed up. You Democrats didn’t disappoint on showing how foolish you are. If it were republicans they would have been rounding up their agendas by now. At least the R party gets things done good or bad. You really threw the egg in your supporter’s faces. Nonsense!
This is outrageous! Democrats want to force green new deal crap on us. Americans have made it clear that democrats are going in the wrong direction.
Joe needs to work a deal with Schumer or get millions in PAC contributions cut by 20%
