Health minister Mark Butler and chief medical officer Paul Kelly call for more to be done as Covid infections surge

Chief medical officer Paul Kelly says the BA.5 Covid subvariant is a significant new threat as Australia faces its third Omicron wave.

'Here is a new variant of Covid-19 that is circulating in the community and it poses a significant new threat. The reason for that is because it's much more infectious than earlier variants,' he said. Kelly urged mask wearing, working from home where possible and booster vaccinations to help slow the spread

So the vaccine doesn't work

Is it? If so, why did we remove mask and test requirements to travel. What changes made to aged care visits. Do we know whats happening or not? Its like covid remains a mystery

Need more jabs, more masks and more lock downs please

Where the fuck are the mask mandates?

Really? Has the penny finally dropped? What is he doing about it? Sweet fanny adams!!

Quit with the constant lies and misinformation. When you never tell people our data shows the death rate is at 0.0012% and how well over 90% revives fine without medical attention before we had jabs we know something more sinister is going on. Get a jab to stop the spread. 😂🤡

Bullshit

New threat, is it? Say hi to South Africa, it’s winter there too.
