If you are working in the Healthcare profession, why would you not get a flu shot?
She should be fired!!! Any medical professional who doesnt get a flu shot should be fired.
It’s irresponsible and selfish to take a profession where you work with immune compromised patients and think it’s okay to not have a flu shot. If you don’t want to have a flu shot then pick a different career.
A mask is sufficient for those who refuse a flu shot. Firing an RN for refusing the shot is not okay, except the RN refuse the mask.
She needs to get a different job . I wish I could get the shot but VA doesn’t carry no eggwhite shots! Unfathomable that she can easily get it but she’d rather risk other people’s health esp sick, elderly, or immune compromised people who come in for care?
She can take her religious practices elsewhere. No need for her to unnecessarily spread flu germs to already ill patients. Glad the hospital stuck to their policy.
I want all my hospital people from the janitor to the surgeon to have all their shots!

It’s standard for hospitals to require this and is usually clear before hire. Healthcare workers need to do their part to reduce illness in vulnerable and fragile patients.
If it’s mandatory to get the shot, and they know this when they are hired , then they should be dismissed.
