News STOP THE TYRANNY

News exellent since 2020 authorities might have sugessted reducing junkfood in order to maximize immunity i've been tweeting [me virtue signaling] WholeFoods ,organic health food stores, natural product stores above RDA vitamin C ,D required for immunity+ balance , microbiome health

Well we know how seriously those will be taken….

News CBC should come with a warning! 'Sponsored by Justin Trudeau'

Hmm, sure but how how about better Covid tracking and keeping transparency on infection numbers so we can do our supposed “individual” risk assessment— which we currently do based on reduced data. Luckily, I follow brilliant epidemiologists on Twitter but what about others?

I thought that was Putin in the photo... MAN, did I ever do a double-take!

Like cigarette warnings...I have my favorite foods and no busy body government dept will change that

In the next breath, Agriculture Canada wants to allow Monsanto (of all companies) to sell GMO'd seeds and tell neither the grower nor the consumer!

Come on get up to speed. Saturated fat is not the bad guy. Sugar, high carbs and bad oils are the problem. Look back 50 years and see that our grandparents were not as fat and unhealthy as most of us today since the Canada Food guide was brought in.

Oh FFS🙄 Government approved ration

Surely people can turn a package over?

Packaging smackaging, people will eat what they want when they want. Waste of tax payers and company funds. Sadcday fir all Canadians who have to okay more for less and now much less as companies will need to recoup these costs. Canadians are educated and do not need hand holding

Good. I hope this helps. Lots of hidden sugar, salt, & fat in processed foods. I've noticed the sugar level in particular climbing gradually in the past decade or so. Eg a certain major brand of tomato soup at one point had around 10g of sugar per serving & now has 16g.

Because turning a package over was so overwhelming for Liberal voters.

Why the picture of Dog Food? Oh maybe it’s because people know more about what they feed their dogs then they do themselves.

Redoing packaging or no reason adds cost which will be passed down to the shopper. Trudeau is doing his best to DRIVE inflation

because FLIPPING the package over to read the back is too much strain on consumers?

It sure would help out diabetics if we actually knew upfront how much added sugar they're putting in

Be nice if we could actually know where the ingredients come from so we can make informed decisions.

Meanwhile

Government knows nothing about health

Should really be starting with liquor and alcohol here. This is all pretty disingenuous, what the fake meat label gonna say?

Wrong on two counts! Saturated fat and salt are things you actually want in your diet. These are suggestions built on old, faulty low fat dietary dogma. These recommendations indicate a lack of understanding of the emerging science on metabolic health. Disappointing.

Begs the question...why are they even making unhealthy food? It's all 'food waste' and a large part of our huge environmental problems. Time to get serious here. 'Global food system is broken, say world’s science academies'

Should be on all 'fast food' too. They should all carry a big sign outside saying 'this is not healthy food...save your money'. Bad diets killing more people globally than tobacco, study finds

So anything good 🤣🤣 and how about treating people like adults so they can make their own decisions without it being shoved in our faces

While they mandate a pharmaceutical product that has severe injury & death as potential side effects without telling people...

So, pretty much everything.

Why ground meat specifically?

OGM ?

This will drive down food costs......

Good , most packaged “stuff” is not nutritious

But I love maple syrup.

The Meat Lobby bullied the scientists and won.

Let me guess; on ground beef but not Coca Cola.
