Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni has said his administration contributed the sum of N2.6 billion to the State Healthcare Contributory Scheme for its workers in two years.

He stated this yesterday in Damaturu during the launching of the Expanded Free Healthcare scheme meant for poor and vulnerable persons.He said, “Government has consistently sustained the employer statutory 3.25% contribution into the formal sector programme from June 2020 to date amounting to N2,642,670,944.84.
