Saul and George are both 12, live in County Antrim in Northern Ireland and their lives have been affected in some way by a rare disease.Saul lives in Portrush and has a rare form of dwarfism that affects the way his bones grow and his lung capacity. He has been shielding during most of the pandemic.
During lockdown, both of them took part in a project that encouraged young people who were shielding to film their lockdown experience.

ChildreninNI NI_RDP HeadlinersUK Love this 👏 Saul you are bursting with character in this 💥
NI_RDP HeadlinersUK Yet their are those who promote only the disability for their own selfish ends and deny the childs abilities especially when those abilities are so clearly evident. I strongly stress that these types of individuals are few. Credit to Saul, his new friend, and to Jane, Gordy.
NI_RDP HeadlinersUK Now that's what I call influencing - these two lads are a true inspiration. 2 of my children (youngest 8 months old) have a rare genetics condition and one other (12) has just been diagnosed with diabetes type 1. Nothing holds my kids back from loving life.
