"I got it checked, and it was basically melanoma - skin cancer," she said. "They did a small surgery to take out the freckle, and then they went back and took an awful lot more, which left my shoulder not great. The growth of cancer was too close to a main artery for surgery, so her doctor trialled her on a drug that luckily shrank it and she was cancer free four months later.
