In a public session on Monday, WHO's Dr. Rosamund Lewis said it was critical to emphasize that the vast majority of cases being seen in dozens of countries globally are in gay, bisexual or men who have sex with men, so that scientists can further study the issue and for populations at risk to take precautions.
Lewis said it's unknown whether monkeypox is being transmitted by sex or just the close contact between people engaging in sexual activity and described the threat to the general population as "low." "You may have these lesions for two to four weeks they may not be visible to others, but you may still be infectious," she said.
You all know monkeypox isn’t new, right? It doesn’t kill people However, weird that all these cases are happening in countries where there are no monkeys
Nobody trusts the WHO anymore . When it comes virus I think gonna should decide for itself what measures are best for its country not some corrupt world organization.
Monkey pox is another way of saying I took too many mRNA vaccines and now my immune system is shot
Some people will end up masked FOREVER. Their body their choice.
All the people that’s aren’t gay are safe.
That is going to be very disappointing to those in tinfoil hats. How can they blame Ttudeau anyway?
'but many unknowns' Oh don't worry... ...lots of 'know-it-alls' on twitter that I'm sure will offer their over-confident yet profoundly ignorant takes on the situation.
