Pioneering Bristol study blames the solid-fuel burners in people’s homes for breaches of World Health Organisation guidelines

But as they have proliferated, mainly in the wealthier parts of the city where many Victorian and Georgian houses have been renovated, so too have fears that they cause pollution.

We'll be limited to having one shit a day soon for fear of pollution! If some wanky rule is brought in, consider people in older houses who aren't connected to gas mains and can't afford to fill their oil tanks due our car crash financial situation.

Wood is just poor grade coal with extra nasties. Any analysis of its pyrolysis products will show just how bad it is for lungs.

They add to lung diseases in children and early death in everyone.
