Daily News | Two women leaving a church funeral service were hit by stray bullets in Philly fatal shooting

The women — a 62-year-old shot once in the left hip and a 57-year-old shot in the right arm — had just left a funeral service at the First Haitian Church of God of Prophecy, a police spokesperson said.

Both were hospitalized at Einstein, the older woman in critical condition, the other in stable condition, said police, who did not release identities of any of the victims. Earlier Saturday morning, a 30-year-old man was shot multiple times throughout the body shortly at 6:19 a.m. on the 800 block of North 50th Street in West Philadelphia. He was pronounced dead at 6:34 a.m. at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, police said.
