The latest data from the Ministry of Health indicates that there are at least 1,024 people in hospital with COVID-19, including 151 in Ontario intensive care units.It should, however, be noted that about 10 per cent of hospitals do not upload occupancy data to the ministry on weekends.
Overall COVID hospitalizations are now down 12 per cent from this time last week, while the number of people in the ICU is down 27 per cent.Over the last 24 hours Ontario’s labs confirmed 1,564 new cases of COVID-19 through PCR testing, compared to 1,934 at this time last week and 2,243 the previous week .
Outbreaks in the handful of settings with widespread access to PCR testing were also down slightly week-over-week. There are now 192 active outbreaks in long-term care homes and 126 in retirement homes, compared to 200 and 162 respectively last Sunday.Ontario did add another seven net new deaths to its COVID-19 tally on Sunday.
Since the onset of the pandemic more than two years ago, a total of 13,070 Ontarians have died as a result of COVID-19. Ontario added 98 more deaths to the tally over the last seven days, virtually unchanged from the previous seven-day period . . The number of cases for any city or region may differ slightly from what is reported by the province, because local units report figures at different times.

AND TTC is taking full responsibility for doing NOTHING to enforce mask use on the subway/streetcars and subway stations. I haven't seen a single TTC staff member doing anything for MONTHS.. yesterday I saw over 200 people with NO MASKS...hmmmmmm. I wonder why...

463 hospitals in Ont, you do the math, it never amounted to more than 3 in every hospital and 1 in ICU units in less than half the hospitals, they have been lying and manipulating the easily manipulated from day one.
463 Hospitals in Ont, with x number of hospital beds which includes more than one bed in ICU units, the stats have always been manufactured going up one day, down the next.. fact is, their math never added up to pandemic levels , at most it put 3 in every hospital

Don’t want to put a number on this, but 750-850 cases during the summer into fall would help out a lot. 150-200 on Icu should with helping back logs 🪵 in important surgeries.

It may indeed be, but its silly to say its the 'lowest' whatever when in the next para it reminds us that 10% of hospitals DON'T report on weekends. Also, where's the 600 (!) people supposed to be in the ICUs by now (according to the geniuses who did the recent modelling)?
