Deputy chief medical officer Dr Ronan Glynn, one of the health officials who steered Ireland through the Covid-19 pandemic, has resigned.
He follows in the footsteps of outgoing chief medical officer Dr Tony Holohan, who has already confirmed that he will also leave his role in the Department of Health. A spokesperson in the Department of Health said: “Dr Ronan Glynn has resigned as deputy chief medical officer effective May 31st 2022.” – PA
We don’t need any public health doctors the sofa experts know it all it seems - I wonder if I changed my approach clinically - say to the patient “whatever you think” when I present a vast selection of treatments - I must remember most of them are google experts nowadays

What we heard was schools are safe. Children don't get Covid in schools mixing only outside the schools gate. In playdates and sleep overs. When in reality schools are and we're a main instigator in the transmission of Covid into our community and household.
