As RCSI and UCD Malaysia Campus ’s Foundation in Science is designed to provide students with a clear insight into medicine as a career choice, the programme also exposes and prepares them for their first year in medical school.
The three semesters of the programme will equip students with the right exposure to clinical and medical fields in a hospital setting, alongside invaluable opportunities to interact with seniors and lecturers, who are mostly clinicians. Meanwhile, those with a CGPA below 3.5 would be required to first take on the Pre-Medical Foundation Year.
Students get an immersive Irish experience for the first two-and-a-half years during their pre-clinical studies in Dublin, Ireland, at either Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland or University College Dublin .
