PETALING JAYA: Hoteliers and tourism service providers must be mindful of public safety and health as they welcome foreign and local tourists back.

Alliance for Safe Community chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye said all operators at tourist destinations must ensure that their amenities and equipment are risk-free through an early safety audit.

“There are risks attendant in every indoor and outdoor activity, as seen by the many stories in the media of accidents resulting in injuries and fatalities.
