WHILE lawmakers are looking into the possibility of using cannabis for medical purposes, a researcher remains sceptical of its potential to treat psychiatric problems. Although cannabis is used in some countries as an alternative treatment to treat depression, a comprehensive study on it still does not exist, said neuroscience researcher Associate Prof Dr Mohamad Aris Mohd Moklas.

Msia does not have credible researchers, even the government is not credible. So if it's used for Parkinson, Azheimer why can't it be use for mental problems? Cos it's a billon dollar business that big pharma cannot lose.
