A total of 275 doctors retired last year or told Quebec's health board that they intend to leave within the next two years. That's nearly double the number since 2017.

In order to attract potential future physicians the system will need to have a plan for repair. Money is no longer the great motivator and why would a student take on the commitment, the debt and the time to start their careers 50 feet behind the starting line? Overworked day 1

This is now the fourth time in my 70 years that I will be without a Family Doctor. My average time without a Doctor is 6 years. Not sure if I will make it this time to even get a New Doctor. Getting old and each time a New Doctor will want to change all of my Prescriptions.
