The runway, the walls, the eye shadow, the pillars of the historic Le Carreau du Temple, even celebrity ambassador Zendaya: All came bathed or bedecked in a hue on the hotter side of fuchsia. And that’s to say nothing for creative director Pierpaolo Piccioli’s designs—oversize powersuits, sequined knits, embellished ball gowns—monochrome in the truest sense of the word.

The shade, dubbed “Valentino Pink PP,” was developed by Piccioli, his design team and color specialists at Pantone. It is now splashed across the fashion house’s website and social media platforms. And all that pink clothing? It will be in boutiques this fall.
