April 11 is the new deadline for health care workers to receive their booster.

The NJHA said it does not know how many hospital employees have now received a booster.

The governor’s mandate requires health workers to get their booster shot by April 11 or within three weeks of becoming eligible, whichever is later. Hackensack Meridian Health said 84% of eligible staff members have gotten a booster and 3% have been granted exemptions.
