Source:Australians will still be able to vote on election day if stuck in COVID-19 isolation as a confirmed case or close contact. The Australian Electoral Commission has confirmed it will roll out a telephone voting system for those subject to isolation orders on the day of the 21 May poll.
Confirmed COVID-19 cases and most close contacts are currently required to serve seven days in isolation. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Scott Morrison is preparing to announce a new health minister to replace the outgoing Greg Hunt.
AusElectoralCom states: “Phone voting will be available from Thurs 19 to Sat 21 May, but only for people who test COVID-19 positive after 6.00pm local time Tues 17 May.” Already in iso and told postal form won’t arrive in time, so how do I vote?
A politician's democracy is where they will take your vote and give it to someone else who you might not approve of and call it a preference vote,a democracy where politicians chose premiers and prime minister is their democracy not ours, not even close.
I hear there’s this new technology that enables you to do things on-the-line. In fact, they say one day people will use it to work from home.
