AFTER weeks of seeing a steady drop in coronavirus disease cases, the Department of Health reported Friday, April 8, that the country is now experiencing a plateau in new infections.

"The number of new Covid-19 cases is on a plateau in the National Capital Region and all island groups," said Vergeire. According to Vergeire, seeing a plateau in cases is not bad as long as it does not result in a surge in cases.
