UK's daily Covid cases plunge by 38% in a week to lowest level in a MONTH

Another 50,202 positive SARS-CoV-2 tests were registered by UK Health Security Agency bosses today.

Experts say the daily counts are now 'completely irrelevant', however, because they rely entirely on testing. Tory MPs today insisted 'it's time to stop' the constant cycle of updates because they 'are of little interest'
