The hospital makes changes based on community transmission levels.

DOTHAN, Ala. - Due to the continued decrease in the transmission rate of COVID-19 in the community, Houston County is now rated in the LOW category by the Alabama Department of Public Health.

The reduction will move Southeast Health’s visitation policy to GREEN, a less restrictive level on Tuesday, April 5. The less restrictive change to the policy will be in place until there is an increase in COVID-19 transmission that threatens patients, staff, and the community.

With Some Students in Turmoil, US Teachers Train in Mental HealthSince the pandemic started, experts have warned of a mental health crisis facing American children. Oh, it's been going on *far* longer than the 'start of the pandemic'. Yea. Who could blame them for having to put up with their mentally ill parents 24/7? NYC Health Official Blasted for Calling White Women 'Birthing People'A health official in New York City experienced much criticism due to her controversial social media posts about women and motherhood. 'Babies born to Black and Puerto Rican mothers in this city are three times more likely to die in their first year of life than babies born to non-Hispanic White birthing people.' Keep the focus and look at what she is saying for god's sake. Comprehend it. This is what matters. This is actually just logic. A woman is always a person but a person can be any gender. There is nothing wrong with calling a mother a 'birthing person' and in no way did the speaker mean to imply maleness. I would think the topic would be far more shocking and upsetting.
