Health Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said this brings the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 3,677,924, of which 40,412 are active. Of the active cases, Vergeire said 38,989 are asymptomatic, mild, and moderate while 1,423 cases are in severe or critical condition.

The Philippines recorded 2,500 new COVID-19 cases from March 24 to March 30, 2022, the Department of Health announced Friday.
