The Health Minister, in a statement Sunday , clarified that the Health Ministry had never sold the application to any private entities to manage public health services.

"Data transactions from the MySejahtera application are uploaded to cloud server networks every day and can only be accessed for MySejahtera use only," he added. "The company offered the MySejahtera application to the government for a year without payment as a corporate social responsibility effort," Khairy said.
