"The Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services have managed COVID-19, in our respective regions, and will continue to, but we are reaching our limit...and we are doing this at our own expense," she said. "What we want is a much more streamlined easy process for people to have access to food and for people to have access to accommodation," she said.
"We're not going to get to a peak for at least another three weeks, but they've moved ahead in Perth. Not enough isolation options
Australia has made a complete mess of dealing with covid. Not United at all. Unnecessary infections and deaths
Health First and Staying Safe.
Two years ago and for most of the two years following those communities were locked down. They were also fast tracked for vaccines 1/2, booster and booster 2. So what else do you want. If the elders & their community leaders fail to do their job its now the governments fault?
🤣🤣🤣 cannot force them to attend a clenic even they set them up specifically to help. Stop blaming govt for a lax attitude by the indigenous
It is one thing having covid support but from my understanding there remains a high degree of vaccine hesitancy in many of remote indigenous communities. Wouldnt throwing services at them be somewhat self defeating?
