The Johnson & Johnson Vision company, which manufactures eye health products at its plant in Limerick, is creating work for an extra 200 employees over the next three years

Recruitment has begun hiring 120 additional staff spread across Johnson & Johnson's labs, automation, engineering, and quality control areas.Johnson & Johnson Vision already employs 1,600 at its Castletroy plant - it is the company's largest global manufacturing facility for its contact lens business.

This device will replace the natural lens in the eye, improving outcomes for people whose sight may become impaired or who go on to develop blindness if not treated. John Fitzgibbon, Operations Director, said Johnson & Johnson is committed to helping people with cataracts and changing the global statistics around people with eye health problems.
