ForumHSPH If those same people didn’t vote for racism and fear mongering, maybe they would get programs from their officials that would address those concerns.
ForumHSPH I suspect, that in many cases, economic concerns fuels drug/opioid abuse. The question then is...what's fueling economic concerns in rural areas? No jobs in the area? Then maybe selling the home/property, and moving is the best course of action. 🤔
ForumHSPH Funny thing - from a certain angle - it's like someone's trying to 'gut' small rural towns and get rid of what they think is 'white trash' using economics and drugs. Infrastructure instead of tax-cuts would have got rural towns good jobs & money.
ForumHSPH Yet they keep voting for the party that will do nothing to address either issue. Go figure.
ForumHSPH Will we ever see a piece like this for urban Americans (y'know, most Americans) or have I just missed them?
