A man in his 30s was taken to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries sustained from the fire.

SEATTLE — A man was seriously injured after a fire erupted at a building in the Chinatown-International District early Saturday morning. Firefighters were called to the three-story mixed occupancy building in the 1200 block of South Main Street before 1:30 a.m. When crews arrived, the fire was contained to the second floor but later spread to the third floor. The fire was then upgraded to a two-alarm fire.A man in his 30s was taken to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries.
