The number of people in British Columbia hospitals for treatment of COVID-19 fell Wednesday to 988, with 136 of those patients in intensive care units.
A statement from the Health Ministry says another 18 people have died, moving the COVID-19 death toll to 2,643. Another 1,776 people have tested positive for COVID-19, but because of limited testing, officials have said that figure is expected to be much larger.
