Denmark becomes the first European Union member nation to ditch significant pandemic restrictions, doing away with face masks and digital passes as Omicron drives a surge in daily case numbers.

Denmark has become one of the first European Union member nations to scrap most pandemic restrictions as the Scandinavian country no longer considers the COVID-19 outbreak "a socially critical disease.

The head of the Danish Health Authority, Søren Brostrøm, told Danish broadcaster TV2 that his attention was on the number of people in ICUs, rather than on the number of infections. He said that number had "fallen and fallen and is incredibly low."Denmark is ditching digital vaccination passes that were previously required to enter venues such as nightclubs, cafes and restaurants.

"I dare not say that it is a final goodbye to restrictions. We do not know what will happen to the fall. Whether there will be a new variant," Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said.

That's what needs to happen now, get rid of all restrictions except international travel, masks. No more checkin. Society back together. It's endemic now...

Why? Because of high booster rates. GetVaccinatedNow

Amen to Scandinavia full of beautiful intelligent people who don’t want to cover their beautiful faces over a mild flu. The people who want mandates forever are afraid of their own shadow and want to remain incognito forever

Again

Loved it

Now tell mark McGowan this.

It only mean they will hide the figures and hope for the best . They can scrap as much as they like, the virus will not go away and people will continue to die. Mostly the sick and elderly the ones we should be caring for the most .

Some things will turn rotten in Denmark
