The Senate, on its third reading, approved a bill calling for the development of a multispecialty medical hospital in Quezon Province. | zacariansINQ

The hospital will be managed by the Department of Health and will serve as the first hospital for various types of diseases in Southern Tagalog and one of the apex hospitals or end-referral hospitals in the area. Tan said that apart from the Southern Tagalog region, patients in Bicol and Metro Manila will also benefit from the said measure.
