In a statement tonight, gardaí said the Divisional Protective Services Unit in Kerry would engage with each family or guardian that comes forward."An assessment will be carried out by the specialist team within the Divisional Protective Services Unit to determine whether the complaint reaches the threshold to commence a criminal investigation," the statement issued by the Garda Press Office said.
A review into the care of more than 1,300 children who attended the HSE-run CAMHS centre in south Kerry found there was clear evidence that 46 of them suffered significant harm. "The report is clear, that harm was done to children and that that needs to be addressed," Mr Martin said."The specifics of that would have to be worked out, but that would be the objective of Government to address these issues in a non-adversarial way," Mr Martin said.
"What emerges from the report is that it is not just about one doctor to be fair, and that is what gives real concern... it took far far too long for intervention to happen," he added. "If certain things hadn't been raised at that point in time been, unfortunately, things would have continued."
If one of the children -who were knowingly subjected to serious criminal damage by the HSE - as much as steals a bar of chocolate due to the serious harm done to them then the Gardaí won’t need to “consider” prosecuting the child- they will swoop and prosecute the child.
That’s not surprising. But if one of the children whoWere knowingly harmed by theHSE only just steals a bar of chocolate due to the damage done2them by theGardaí will swoop & instantly prosecute the Child-NO consideration needed. The damage done to them is aCrime as it wasWilful.
