A 15-year-old accused of killing four students in a shooting at a Michigan high school will pursue an insanity defense,Ethan Crumbley's defense attorney filed a notice Thursday that will lead to a series of mental health exams. The judge will then decide if the insanity defense can go forward based on the findings of the exams, AP notes., which seeks at least $25,000, over the shooting that occurred on Nov. 30.

"All we do is walk around the house and think about Tate," William Myre said. "We think about him every day. We sit in his room. We listen to his playlist off Spotify. We’re not doing good, but we’re going to find a way to get through it together.”

Charging a 15 year old as an adult is FUCKED up. Especially when he exhibited signs of needing help, even to the point of writing “help me” on notes the school found BEFORE the shooting.

Just get him away from his parents. I blame them.

Probably merited but the parents should be convicted of aiding and abetting.

That should really help the parents' case for gifting a gun to their insane son.
