Medina Lungu says there are no words for how she’s feeling after her daughter Priya was diagnosed with advanced cancer.
The Kildare mum is asking for help in raising money for Priya as the family seek treatment abroad for her. “We went to Portlaoise Hospital and they did all the tests, X-ray, ultrasound on the head and they took thyroid tests.Four months later, Priya had an accident, with her mum sharing: “She fell from the bed and I was scared and I ran straight away to hospital. I was terrified because one of her eyes was shaking abnormally.”
The mum-of-four said that doctors eventually spoke to the pediatric department who had a doctor review Priya’s case.
