Queensland has recorded 34 new locally acquired COVID cases, with Chief Health Officer John Gerrard saying the Omicron strain could become the dominant variant within days.
Overnight the state recorded 42 new COVID cases overall, with seven linked to interstate travellers and one being an overseas acquired infection. Authorities say most cases have minimal symptoms, while one unvaccinated woman is moderately unwell in hospital with breathing difficulties.Dr Gerrard said the Omicron strain was fast becoming dominant in Queensland.
"Twenty-one out of the 25 last tested viruses [were] found to be the Omicron. This is happening very rapidly, even more rapidly than we originally predicted," he said. "We thought that it might take weeks. It looks like if this trend continues, it will be dominant within days."

No worries, it's mild like symptoms- liken to the flu. The worry is hospitals being close to full due to the vaccine injuries from the government pressuring people to have an experimental drug 🤷♀️

Vaccinated and milder version. Studies show so far vaccination is keeping hospitalisation down which is exactly what we are after.
