Bulacan has recorded its lowest 467 active cases on December 16, 2020, Celis reported.
Meanwhile, Bulacan local government has administered the first dose of COVID-19 jabs to 1,928,250 residents or 79.60 percent of the province’s 2.8 million population targeted for herd immunity while 1,487,818 or 64 percent have received both doses.
In Pandi town, the municipal health office is already vaccinating 12 to 17 year-olds from other nearby towns as the town already reached more than 150 percent of target residents in the said age bracket. Celis said Pandi is the first town in Bulacan that had reached the 70 percent herd immunity as it already recorded 96 percent.
“In Pandi as of December 1, 6 a.m., we have 96.87 percenf cumulative at least first dose, first dose for both adult and 12 to 17 year-olds. Fully vaccinated is 71.55 percenr,” Celis told Inquirer.
